We’re Elaine and Fabio, the co-founders of Go Banana! Marketing Inc. We’re seasoned designers and marketers who have worked with all sizes of companies, across two continents. We take an empathetic approach to building marketing strategies. That means we do a lot of listening. We listen to our clients and we listen to our clients’ clients. We gather information about their needs, their pain points, and their goals. This allows us to build custom marketing strategies that deliver results. Our clients don’t get a paint-by-numbers plan. We only put energy into initiatives that work.
Both of us spent most of our careers in the corporate world, from gritty startups to hulking multi-nationals. We enjoyed our work, but were often frustrated by the layers of approvals for tiny changes and the aversion to creativity. But otherwise, our careers felt relatively secure and consistent. Then we both got shocked out of complacency. Fabio experienced a toxic workplace and quit to save his mental health. Elaine got laid-off from a company she poured her heart into. We realized that comfort and security were not guaranteed unless we created it ourselves. So we took our years of experience, our high standards of quality, and our strong work ethics to create Go Banana!

The name "Go Banana!" originally started as Elaine’s freelance business while she pursued a fine art degree at OCADU. She wanted a name that winked to her Chinese-Canadian identity and her obsession with The Simpsons. We kept the name because it still speaks to our enthusiastic and offbeat nature, and, let's face it, it’s a heck of a name!
